Re: Matter integration

“It allows us and other manufacturers to support Zigbee, Thread, and Bluetooth – all at the same time, on one chip, with one antenna.”

Lol, and they are thinking with that users will forget their zigbee stuff to go to Matter one ?
I call that a "step backwards".

Re: Pi 5 fresh install

What are the advantages of using Docker on Raspberry Pi ? If you have a big server not able to run classic OS, or need outdated OS for not supported hardware ok, but on raspberry ?
You can have a full OS, always on date, with simple access, that can be always in date, with only 1 version of python ...

Re: Pi 5 fresh install

It can depend of yours hardwares, but yes for me it's the better way.

- Make a full backup of old domoticz (can be usefull).
- Install full OS, official, with upgrade and update, not a lite version.
- Install Domoticz with official command
- On the previous OS make backup of database (using ...

This is not a Z4D topic is it?

In your opinion ? you don't think ? Look at the post owner, look at the message.

Sure I am allowed to say 'it's working with Zigbee2MQTT' ... (as it does 99,9% of the time)

Next time, just come to say it work with HA.

I can understand you are frustrated having ...

Re: Someone interested by a dashboard made with e-paper

The code is online, download it to be sure having it, because as it seem there is few users interested, I will probably delete it in some weeks.

And yes the flickering is visible for exemple on Adafruit shop site, there is video with the product. And it's worse if you have more than 2 colors.

The ...

I will put files on a github page this week.
But for information, this kind of device is not good for "real time" display, because of the flickering when updating.
But they are perfect for low powering device that display daily information, plant irrgation, cat food, calendar, ect ....

The library ...
