Re: Logitech Media Server
Brilliant, thanks. I was looking for something like that, but had to piece what I had together from various snippets on the LMS forums.

Re: Amazon Echo to Domoticz Bridge: switches, sensors & more
Sounds interesting... Will that be using an Alexa 'Custom' skill?

Re: Amazon Echo to Domoticz Bridge: switches, sensors & more
Scrap that last question, looks like a workaround was added to handle (ignore) the self-signed certificate a way back.

Re: Amazon Echo to Domoticz Bridge: switches, sensors & more
Out of interest, does this work with SSL (so using HTTPS rather than HTTP)?

Re: Amazon Echo to Domoticz Bridge: switches, sensors & more
It is not possible to get Alexa to query the temperatures of the sensors with a 'Smart Home Skill', so I guess there is no point in retrieving them...

Re: Logitech Media Server
I spent some time with Wireshark and managed to extract the command for a radio station. This turned out to be a direct HTML call, something a bit like: http://192.168.0.99:9000/anyurl?p0=playlist&p1=play&p2=... So I added this as a new switch in Domoticz. For some reason it did not accept the above ...

Re: Control Domoticz using Harmony Hub and HA Bridge
D'oh. Should have read the manual. For others information, the following is required for dimming:
Code: Select all

Re: Logitech Media Server
I just got an Echo and am very interested in controlling LMS by voice. I already have the Ha-Bridge set up so I can trigger switches in Domoticz using Alexa. While I can see there are a handful of commands you can set up using this plugin (e.g. Start, Stop), what I want to do is say to Alexa for ...

Re: Control Domoticz using Harmony Hub and HA Bridge
Got the Ha-Bridge set up now and it is controlling all my Harmony activities and some of the my Domoticz switches. However I can't seem to get the dimming working. I see there is a 'Dim URL', which does not seem to handle a variable dim level (?) but I did try adding the following url to get it to ...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Hi, not sure if I'm the only one with this problem but I've noticed that when I'm leaving home it is not recognised by Pilot and thus my Domoticz is not updated. I'm using the beta version: 2.0.0 (2003). Do more people experience the same problem? Or is it only me? Thanks. How could I debug this ...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Splash screens do only show when the app first loads. More likely is that iOS is closing Pilot for performance reasons so you get a full restart most times. I find that using Safari often seems to kill off other app instances.

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
If it was a totally free app I would agree, but I think that once you pay a premium for upgrading the app then the excuse that you are 'busy doing other things' is not really acceptable in the business world. I run my own app business and spend a lot of time answering customers' emails. When I go on ...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Hi. I sent a support email using your website form and also another one directly but have not received a reply from either. The first email was sent over two weeks ago. Is this app still being developed, or is the author away at the moment? I have paid for the upgrade, so would have expected a reply ...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
I do use a no-ip provider. The problem is the fact that an external domain name cannot be reached within the internal network without having 'nat loopback' turned on. If there is no feature on the router to turn 'nat loopback' on, then you are stuck. This is really quite common, at least in the UK ...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
I would like to add another vote for having both 'Home' and 'Away' server settings. The app could detect if wifi was available and use the 'Home' server, or use the 'Away' server otherwise. If you could also manually switch between Home and Away, then this would cover all bases. In order to be able ...
