Could not start download,
check your internet connection or try again later !...
Could you try a sudo ./updatebeta from the CLI while in the domoticz directory and report back ?
Should have thought of that myself, but up till now it always worked on the other system.
Probably some minor ...

Update Domoticz fails - Could not start download
What i did:
- Created a clean raspbian Buster (required for new version) on a 2nd Pi.
- Installed the same version as current Pi: 4.10717
- Copied the DB, zwcfg...xml, and global_data.lua
- Started, modified some events because username changed.
- reboot
- run for a day, zwave devices respond ...
