Re: Zwave and groups -> how does it work?

My hardware attached are STELLA Z trvs , raspberry pi and aeon 2 stick, and a couple of danfoss LC13 TRV's. The stella z's have 3 thermostats, a level which appears as a light dimmer switch, and a temperature sensor device. I have set the controller Poll interval to 40 seconds, stella z and danfoss ...

Re: Zwave and groups -> how does it work?

So what do you think could be the reason for the drop outs. I have tried extra relays, no relays (its surprising actually how far a Aeon USBSTICK will throw a signal and receive it) . I have tried short 20-120 and long 720 poll intervals on my controller. Its not batterys.

Re: Zwave and groups -> how does it work?

Does any one know how I do this? can I do it through domoticz?

Re: Zwave and groups -> how does it work?

I have clicked on hardware, then the setup button for the ZWave device. Then I clicked on the Network management button and then the 'Groups and Network' button in the menu that appears. I then get the same inter node diagram that you have, with a table beside it. The Table though only has the node ...

Re: Zwave and groups -> how does it work?

This is so so interesting. I don't actually have any groups listed. It only has node and name heading on the text table!

Re: Zwave and groups -> how does it work?

my groups and network screen has nothing about groups on it. All my devices report straight to the controller. I have not set any groups and am not sure how to do it, but it does look like they are fairly essential to the stability of the system. ** so so confused :( **

Re: Zwave and groups -> how does it work?

I just get a screen showing the connection relationships between the controller and nodes. There does not seem to be any way to alter anything. From what I understand above, nodes should be able to be added to a group?

Re: Zwave and groups -> how does it work?

I've only just noticed this "grouping" thing and I am wondering if it is causing my transient connection problems. How do you actually add a device to a group? I cannot see it in my version of domoticz which is 2255, the latest stable pi image. I am also wondering if adding relays can make a system ...

Re: Change variable value only via JSON

Nor Me :) I've trying to change the thermostat setpoint on a device through JSON. I'm going to experiment, there is a page on this stuff but I sort of expected a bit more detail. its in my JSON Post
