In case anyone else has this problem, it looks likte it was caused by having the wrong power supply. I used a power supply that i allready had but the new LED strip i ordered was a 24 volt while the power supply was 12volts.

Installed the update yesterday, fresh install. Started from scratch but still no success. And yes, I used different browsers.

Even when I'm logged in on both and have both tabs open, I don't get to see any switches.
