Re: Startup Delay
Thanks for your help. I had set the windows standard delay. Most of the time it works now, otherwise I stop Domoticz with the task manager and restart it manually. That always works.

Re: Startup Delay
to waltervl Sorry, I was unclear: I use Windows 11, the registry settings may be different. So far it is correct: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\ ---- but the Domoticz entry should appear here, but it is missing. I had never entered a start delay myself, but Domoticz starts by ...

Re: Startup Delay
Thanks, I will test it. I hope it also works when you are away from home and Windows restarts automatically after an update. How did you set a delay? I need this because a server and scripts have to be processed before Domoticz can start. I use Windows 11.

Re: Startup Delay
Thank you for the information. I had hoped that this could be set directly in Domoticz. The wiki did not help me to find the registry entry, there is no information about the exact position. I always use the task manager to end Domoticz after a Windows restart because it doesn't work and then start ...

Re: Download old versions
I need the Domoticz Windows.exe 2022.2
Does anyone know a link to the .exe, or still have this exe ? Compiling the Gitbub version is too complicated for me.
The version 2023.1 works for me only internally and the version 2023.2 can not be installed.
("Libcrypto-3.dll" is missing)

Symbols
It would be helpful if a symbol for a switch could also be added to the symbols. When using relays this would then be clearer than, instead, a lamp, socket, etc.

Switch Security Panel at a certain Time to "Normal"
In the evening I manually switch the security panel to "Armed Home". How can the security panel automatically switch to "normal" every morning at 07:00? The timer and Blocky have not automatically switched back to "Normal". Is there a simple solution without a Scipt?

Re: database backup in Windows
Thanks for the answer, I did it this way, but the backup still doesn't work, because Windows doesn't save the changes I made. I need to find what's blocking the saving of the change.

Re: database backup in Windows
Hi, I have the same Windows backup problem with all browsers. Can you explain how you changed Domoticz map to the "current user"?

Many "Switches" missing after update to the latest stable version
I am using Windows 10. Everything works fine with the older stable version from 2017 and later updates up to version 2.9117 from 28.03.2018. If I install newer updates (incl. the latest stable version 2018) most of the "Switches" are not longer displayed. Only four of my forty "Switches" are still ...

Re: Transfer to new Hardware Problem
Thank you for the advice, strangely enough, even in my new Windows10 installation (Run as a application) the folder ..\Domoticz\Domoticz.db is not available. Also the backup folders (Daily, Hourly, Monthly) are empty, even with Chrome only a 0Byte.PHP backup file is saved. I installed the stable ...

Re: Transfer to new Hardware Problem
Thank you, but even after reading the instructions the further procedure is not quite clear to me. To install the Windows version and updates of Domoticz I always use the setup.exe file. Hope you can answer me this: Do I need to reinstall with a compiled version and then change permissions and ...

Re: Transfer to new Hardware Problem
Addional information: Also the "Auto Update" Folders are empty, even Auto Update is enabled, but I would prefere a manual Backup to transfer Domotics to the new PC. Are there any settings in Firefox necessary to safe the Backup as a ".db" and not as a ".php" ? Hope that somebody can help. Thanks !

Transfer to new Hardware Problem
Hello, I want to transfer my Domoticz application from a Windows 10 Orbsmart AW-07 to the new AW-09 Mini-PC. I am using the last Domoticz Beta and Firefox 59.01. My problem: If I do a database backup via "Setup >Settings>Backup/Resore", I only get a zero bytes.php file, no .db backup. Is there ...

Re: Toggle Function or Siren Off for Minutes in Blocky
Thanks for your additional information. The possibilities of virtual switches sounds interesting. I will do some tests to find out what is better working under special conditions. I am using Domoticz now for security reasons, home automation and solar.
