Old thread, but still I have an idéa:
Maybe you could use the Excess Temperature Warning. When you want to trigger the alarm - set it to one degree celcius (not zero, which disables the function), afterwards set it back (default 55 degrees).
Question is how to make it react quickly since it normally ...
