Re: Widget / Device re-sorted in all tabs after adding / enabling a new device
Thank you for the tip about my second user. I've now deleted it and am working as an admin, just like before. So, as I've done too many times before, I had to re-sort all my switches, sensors, and meters. Hopefully for the last time. If this means that all newly created devices are automatically ...

Re: Widget / Device re-sorted in all tabs after adding / enabling a new device
This problem with the unwanted rearrangement of switches, sensors and meters first occurred with the update to 2024.7. At the same time, I had the challenge that after this update I was only shown completely empty tabs, i.e. all my switches, sensors and meters had disappeared. I first had to find ...

Widget / Device re-sorted in all tabs after adding / enabling a new device
Me Too! Since version 2024.7 and now 2025.1, I've also had the problem that every time I add a new sensor, switch, or meter, all the tabs are rearranged alphabetically. This destroys the order I painstakingly created. Before version 2024.7, this wasn't the case; new things were simply added to the ...

Searching for a doorsensor which sends open+close signal
Hello,
i tried some different door/window-sensors from aliexpress but all of them only sends a signal when the door/window is opened. I am searching for a sensor which sends an open and a close signal to use with RF-Link (433Mhz).
Does somebody use such a sensor with Domoticz?

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
I use the MAX-plugin for several rooms with radiator controls and wall thermostats. It works great. Now I've bought some more radiator-controller for some more rooms, but without the wall-thermostats. These are unfortunately no longer available. Also for these rooms, the MAX-plugin works great ...

Re: json-command to Domoticz selector-switch
I am looking for the correct json command to display the current switching state of a selector button set in Domoticz. I have already searched in the wiki and the manual and here in the forum and found nothing. Who can help? According the the domoticz API / JSON wiki the call to set the selector to ...

json-command to Domoticz selector-switch # solved!
I am looking for the correct json command to display the current switching state of a selector button set in Domoticz. So far only the command transfer to the actuator in ESP-Easy works. https://i.ibb.co/DYW67sz/Heating1.jpg https://i.ibb.co/KD1qrq3/Heating2.jpg With the conversion of an on/off ...

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
Since tonight this MAX! Plugin works no more. Instead, I regularly receive only these error messages: 2019-07-22 08:58:17.694 Error: (MAX1) 'onHeartbeat' failed 'TypeError':'unsupported operand type(s) for *: 'NoneType' and 'int''. 2019-07-22 08:58:17.694 Error: (MAX1) ----> Line 318 in '/home/pi ...

Script to read ELV/eQ-3 MAX Temperatur to Domoticz Dummy Device
I found a interesting free software "MAX! HOME AUTOMATION" http://www.dmitry-kazakov.de/ada/max_home_automation.htm for Linux or Windows to read out all temperatures or status or to change settings of my ELV/eQ-3 MAX-Devices. This software looks and works very well, but my knowledge about domoticz ...

Re: WT0122 Pool Thermometer
Nice idea with a thermostat in a ziplock in the pool
But i still bought the same poolthermometer (13,48 € with remote lcd display). It was much cheaper than your ziplock idea (88,99 € conrad.de).
Is there already a solution for displaying the pool temperature with the pool thermometer?

Smoke Detector wireless protocol support missing
I got new smoke detectors. The Type is Nemaxx HW-2. Theire wireless protocol "RM174RF" is supportet with the newest RF-Link firmware (R45). But domoticz says "2016-12-22 14:39:19.918 Error: RFLink: Unhandled switch type: RM174RF" The exact output at RF-Link on alarm is: 20;CF;RM174RF;ID=548573 ...
