Thanks :) I think I'm going to write a new plugin for ESPEasy and have it run on a Sonoff as they do seem to be quite stable.. I'll leave it running for a week or 2 and see howit gets on.. Advantage of this is I can make it fully domoticz compatible and will cost me zero as already have the sonoff ...

send(msg.set(DOMOTICZ_IDX)) that will return the status of that IDX, what you can caputre in the reply and set the output Secondly I send the data from all in puts every 30 minutes to be sure the status is correct Please may you elaborate step by step how you did this on both the ESP and Domoticz ...

I've done some further reading on using rules, and while I can see how rules could work, I'm not clear how the SetPoint virtual device in Domoticz would be used to set/update the switching value on the node.
