Morning all, from a rather cold UK - partly because my heating keeps turning off!
Can anyone help on this issue?
thanks

Re: Setting via json to Custom turns heating off
Is there a way to investigate this via logging?
I'm assuming either the Evohome API has changed, or the Domoticz implementation of it has in the latest update

Re: Setting via json to Custom turns heating off
Thanks Waaren, I use custom as a 'just gone to bed setting' where downstairs heating is turned off and bedrooms are all turned on lower - it basically accelerates the night time setting of the heating (after midnight all zones are in the same setting as custom anyway). Do you see anything in Evohome ...

Setting via json to Custom turns heating off
Hi all, I run a script at night that sets my evo home to a custom setting: http://x.x.x.x:8080/json.htm?type=command¶m=switchmodal&idx=14&status=Custom&action=1 This has worked for ages but after the 2021.1 update (this may be a coincidence) Evohome first goes to custom, then turns off The log ...

Re: Samsung Washmachine read status from json "SOLVED" [Solved]
Hi Tjeerd & Waaren, I've just had a further play with this and have made some minor changes but IMHO make it easier to setup for a newbie (ie me!). Amazing work on this and I hope this can help someone else: -- SETUP YOUR API CONFIGURATION HERE -- -- API key from https://account.smartthings.com ...

Re: Samsung Washmachine read status from json "SOLVED" [Solved]
Hi Waaren,
Thank you for this, it now works perfectly!
I'm going to see if I can tweak this into English and will post updated code if it works.
Thanks,
Will

Re: Samsung Washmachine read status from json "SOLVED" [Solved]
Hi Tjeerd & Waaren, I've just installed a samsung smart washing machine today so I've been giving this a go, thanks for all the efforts, amazing work and well beyond anything I'd have been able to do by myself :) I noticed a couple of things: 1. To get the device ID rather than use a get request ...

HGI80 install on a Pi - getting Lost
<r>Morning all,<br/> <br/> I'm trying to get a HGI80 running on my Pi, but the explanation on the wiki goes pretty hardcore, pretty quickly and I'm lost!<br/> <br/> I ended up following this (from a post on domoticaforum):<br/> <CODE><s> </s>cd /lib/firmware/ sudo wget ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/linux ...

Re: Evohome JSON Api
If you use Evohome via Web API you do not need to calculate the end time as this is already provided in the correct format (which is UTC as indicated by the 'Z' terminator). The only catch is that you must supply it when issuing the override. It might interest you to know that I'm currently working ...

Re: Evohome JSON Api
Hi all, I don't want to use an end time as it needs to be both calculated (which is a pain, and can't be done in the blockly interface), and may interfere with events on EvoHome. My view (probably wrong in some eyes) is that each system should be independent and own their own schedules(ie Hue for ...

Re: Evohome JSON Api
Ok thanks,
I havent used Dzvents yet, but could give it a go.
Will this make it easier to set the termporary setpoint (ie setpoint until next EvoHome setpoint)?
thanks

Re: Evohome JSON Api
Hiya, When I go to bed 'alarm = night set' this triggers a switch on Domoticz (I'm using a Fibaro universal sensor wired into my alarm). I want an event to run that'll do the following: Set kitchen setpoint = 16Deg Set living room setpoint = 16Deg Set play room setpoint = 16Deg Set our bedroom ...

Evohome JSON Api
Hi all, I've just installed EvoHome to my long running Domoticz install and I'm using the Web integration (rather than USB) for running this. When I go to be my house alarm is set and I want to recreate what I had with nest. Which was when alarm == night set, set setpoint to X - but with EvoHome I ...

Re: Using 433Mhz serial interface at 56k
Ignore me on this..i found an alternative fix.
FYI for anyone facing the same. Download Ardupilot software (for APM), then go into 3dr modem settings and you can change the baud there.

Using 433Mhz serial interface at 56k
Hi all, I want to use MySensors with an old 433Mhz serial link that I've got (left over from playing with radio control stuff). It's very simple tx/rx serial at both ends and this works great with Arduino > PC etc. The only issue is the serial link can only work at 56k, it cannot use anything else ...
