Re: Sensus HRI Pulse sensor
Sorry, I think my explanation was a little short there. What I ment was: goto -- > Hardware --> S0 Meter USB --> Modes setup --> set the appropriate input to 1000 It could be that it's not actually called "modes setup" but I've set Domoticz to my own language so I had to translate is back to english ...

Re: Controlling Toon [HACKED] from Domoticz
Currently this topic is mainly focused on controlling Toon from Domoticz (yeah yeah... I know it's in the forum title), but maybe there are also people that want to control Domoticz from Toon. And therefor "TerrorSoure" made a nice application: DomoticzBoard It takes some time to setup but in the ...

Re: Sensus HRI Pulse sensor
Sorry for the late reply but do you have "Accept new sensors" enabled in the settings menu? This is something people often forget and therefor new sensors are not added.

Re: Extend 433mhz coverage ?
@ timeless : idea is good so it means that I would need to split my devices "network" into sub network but at the end it will be transparent and appears the same than today in domotics Exactly! the only difference is that the order will be sent via a rfx or another... got it ! thank you for the ...

Re: Nvidia Shield status
Ping is also known as ICMP which uses Level 3 to communicate between devices. So "pinging" an app is not actually a thing. Maybe you can also turn WiFi on and ping the IP assigned to the WiFi interface, when the device enters sleep mode it will disconnect and it will no longer be reachable on that ...

Re: Extend 433mhz coverage ?
how could I configure this ? I need another rfx + another pi or just another RFX on the current pi ? I would like to have a single domoticz and see all my devices on it Since USB can only reliably extend to a length of 2meters which I assume is not enough :), your best bet will be a device that ...

Re: Digitemp & PL2303 (1-wire over UART)
Thanks that explains it more :) So if I understand it correctly this simplified one (same as in TS): https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dword1511/onewire-over-uart/master/docs/pp2od_rd.png Works the following way, when the TX sinks current D1 will conduct which will result in a LOW signal. And when ...

Re: Nvidia Shield status
Mmh. so you're shield actually leaves the Wireless ON while in standby? That's energy inefficient.
Ah wait... the shield is running android right? You could disable WiFi while in sleep (should be somewhere in the WiFi settings), this should give the desired output.

Re: Extend 433mhz coverage ?
well for the antenna orientation / model and place I think I alrady found the optimal case, it's placed under the ceiling, upside down and it's a ground plane close to the RFXCom. with this I have an excellent reception. Ah ok great, I also had such a issue before, thinking that all antennas should ...

Re: Digitemp & PL2303 (1-wire over UART)
Mmh... interesting, but on the website where I got the schematics from specifically they mention; A USB to UART converter with TTL output is required, unless you are using a SBC with native TTL UART (NOT RS-232!) such as Raspberry Pi. Many USB to UART converters have TTL UART interfaces. RS-232 ...

Re: PCI Express video board.
h.264 is a video format. So basically it should provide a stream (can be h.264) which can be used in Domoticz.

Digitemp & PL2303 (1-wire over UART)
Hi people, I recently discovered Digitemp which is a utility to read 1-wire sensors over a UART interface. I really like this solution because this does not involve plugging wires on headers for external sensors and such. But instead have a nice USB plug with integrated UART (pl2303 in my case). So ...

Re: Nvidia Shield status
Does you shield have network connectivity? You could use the ping component and ping your shield once in a while to see if it is turned on or not.

Re: PCI Express video board.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no support for analog video yet.
You could of course setup a program that uses this analog video card as an input and serves this in h.264 format to Domoticz.

Re: Extend 433mhz coverage ?
Unfortunately these 433Mhz protocols are not designed in a "mesh" way. Best you can do is using a antenna with a higher gain, what this does is limit the antennas "visibility" in the bottom/upper direction so it can better "see" in its horizontal direction. This of course only helps if your sensors ...

Re: Wireless RFID as security key
Please keep in mind that these RFID tags are easily cloned. Example on youtube If you really want to have secure RFID system please have a look at UHF RFID Gen2. There feature a password authentication which (for now) cannot be cloned without knowing the password beforehand. So only cloning the EPC ...

Re: Controlling Toon [HACKED] from Domoticz
Oh, and I'm trying to get rid of the 'Manual' and 'Temporary' setting. I get how it works, but Toon doesn't show this, so what do I need it for in Domoticz? Correct me if I'm wrong but these states are used by toon? when the schedule is running and the temperature is manually set on Toon itself it ...

Re: Domoticz on OpenWRT
HI, Sorry for my late reply, but Domoticz is now officially supported in OpenWRT/LEDE . It has not made it to the latest LEDE 17.01.2 release but will be in the next release. However it is possible to run LEDE latest snapshot and install Domoticz & OpenZwave. But please keep in mind these snapshots ...
