Hi waaren,
Solved starting Domotixz after a reboot by adding Domoticz to the Windows Common Startup folder.
Now working well.
Thanks for your input.

Re: v 4.9700 - Start as a s'Service' & Cannot create/edit scenes
Hi waaren,
Many thanks for the reply.
Followed your guidance and have 4.9700 running with all my switches/scenes restored from a backup, and can edit as required.
However, it will not work if I install Domoticz as 'Run As A Service'.
Any Ideas?

v 4.9700 - Start as a s'Service' & Cannot create/edit scenes
1) In Windows 10 ,I uninstalled a working v.8153, reboot, then installed 4.9700 no problem, selecting 'Run as a Service. Then restored my Domoticz database from a backup, and cleared the browser cache (Chrome). Reboot Windows. Result - No switches or scenes. 2) Did same again, but without selecting ...

Re: Connect Domoticz (windows 10) to Amazon Echo - SOLVED
Hi freijn, I have used HA Bridge successfully - a bit fiddly, but works well.
I then converted to Controlicz, really simple, secure and works brilliantly.
Good support from Nick. I definitely recommend Controlicz.

Re: Connect Domoticz (windows 10) to Amazon Echo - SOLVED
Eventually got Windows 10 - Domoticz working with Alexa, via HA Bridge.
Lights, Switches, Roller Blinds, Groups & Scenes all work well and the response is rapid, 2-3 seconds.
I found HA Bridge much simpler than OpenHAB.

Re: How To Replace Domoticz Certificate
Hi ftsikogi, With a little help from friends I got it sorted by initiating the native SSL via the command line on my start icon (Windows does not use 'domoticz.sh') I added: -www 8080 -sslwww 443 -loglevel=0 -sslcert "C:\Program Files (x86)\Domoticz\server_cert.pem" it worked immediately. e.g. it ...

Re: How To Replace Domoticz Certificate
Hi ftslkogl, I am struggling to setup SSL on Domotics / Windows 10. HTTP works well, now want to add the default certificate, initially. All of the web posts refer to 'domoticz.sh' file to setup the config, but I cannot find it in my installation folders! Are you able to give me any pointers? Thanks ...

Hi Hyper,
Did you get this working? I am having the same issue with my fan. RFX com works the fan O.K., but no 'Fan' in the device type dropdown.

Hi Tony, Thanks for the reply, really useful. The sensor is to monitor the temperature of my Marine Fisk Tank (Coral Reef) and to provide alarms/notifications when the parameters get too high/low. Sensor Help - please
I am looking for a sensor to measure the water temperature in a tank that can be connected via my RFXcom. Looking at many sensors on the web I find that they are room/external/weather sensors without a waterproof probe to go into a tank. Has anyone got a working example or can recommend a sensor? My ...

Hi, I have Domoticz working on my Win 10 Pc - no issues re lights and window blinds, scenes and hand held remote controls. I recently bought the Amazon Echo and have been looking across the web for examples of how to connect this to my Domoticz setup. The examples I have found seem to centre on RPi ...

Re: Read Switch Status - Progress
I have found that the hand held controller for my Brennensthul sockets, is recognised by the RFXCom transceiver, using mode 'Lighting 4'. Managed to get it to successfully interact with one socket, so far.... - I identified button A from the remote. Then added it as a new device. - Made this device ...
