Hello,
In the latest beta (#4159 as now) and some before (I remember I tried in the #4031) I try to update my RRFX433E firmware, but As soon as I push the upgrade button I return to the dashboard.

Is it broken ? do I have to use the windows method ?

Could you try with the latest beta ?
The /tmp folder is now used to store the firmware before uploading, maybe this change was not working, or maybe with the latest beta version it is working

Just updated to #4183, and upgraded my RFXTRX433e firmware without issues

Just tried in the #4192 and still doesn't work, there is something wrong with me....

Did you try to use different web browser, for me this was not working with internet explorer, but with chrome no issue. I was able to upgrade firmware without any problems.

Are there any plans to include this option for those of us running Domoticz on Windows?

That is already possible, go to the setup of the RFXCom and you can upload a new firmware there (serial connected)

I tried to upgrade with firefox and chrome, same result, I also deleted the web cache.

Do you see anything in the log, or the browsers debug console ?

I'll test it tonight, I can't do it at work

So there is nothing in the log file, but i see a 404 error in the debug console of the web browser for what I think to be the firmware upgrader

as the user running domoticz can you create a file in /tmp?

ok some news about my problem,

I upgraded the RFX from a computer with the rfxflash software, now I can upgrade from domoticz but only from a windows computer, not a ubuntu one.
