Home system control, hardware choice

Hi,

I just both my first home and going to start with some renovations soon, so I was thinking of controlling everything with domotica.
First things to know about me: I'm have an electrician degree and an ICT-electronics degree. I'm a .NET programmer by day. And I love automation

So I started researching and I found that Domoticz could do everything I want, and is open source (always a plus for me!) I downloaded the software for windows, to check it out, but without hardware a bit of a empty apllication :D.

Thus starting the research of Hardware;
For the controller I found this, and it looked promising: https://www.kiwi-electronics.nl/raspber ... ave-bundel

But I did have some problems finding some other hardware or info if my idea is possible

What I would love to do;
  • control temperature (all floors)
  • control lighting
  • control AV devices
  • control shutters
The reserach

Control temperature (all floors)
The heating contractor comes by in a couple of days, so the type of device hasn't been decided yet, but this will preferably be controlled by multiple NEST thermostats (probably 3, downstairs, bathroom, bedroom) if possible
And as I could recall from http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... 700#p43700 this can be done without any extra plugin

Control lighting
I tried to figure out on how to control the lights, and I didn't find anything usable for a whole house.
Or I didn't use the correct words in google, or this is just hard to find;

So the idea would be a normal house installation but controlled by the Domoticz software, but how would you do this for normal lights?

Preferably I would love to use the following type of switches in the house: http://www.niko.eu/enus/niko/products/s ... h-buttons/
This would then have to switch a relais in order to controll the 230V lights or LED strips

But then I would need some hardware so the Raspi can see that you pressed the button, and then something to controll the relais.
Are there any solutions for this?
