InfluxDB on RPi SD Image?

I recently got my new system up and running on an RPi2 and while I'm waiting to get the hardware installed, figured I'd play around with everything available in the standard install. InfluxDB doesn't seem to be available on port 8083 as mentioned in the wiki, though. Is there something further needed to get InfluxDB running on the standard Pi image?

It seems like it has been removed in the new image. I can see that the documentation has been updated after this was posted and that Influx has been removed from the wiki.

Correct, it was taking cpu and write cycles on the sdcard, if you need it, please install it yourself
Maybe extend the wiki on how to use/setup influxdb... there might already be a wiki about it

Does Node.js and Node.RED work on your setup? It seems to segfault on my side

(sorry about using this way, but I can't send private messages yet, and I do not know if this is my problem or a problem with the image. )

With 16 messages you should be able to send PM's, maybe an OP can look at this...

Do you have a raspberry pi 1 ? In this case you need to deinstall and reinstall the version for the old system
Or upgrade to an RPi3 ... it is so much faster then a RPI1
