Struggling with Fibaro FGMS001 and Z Wave Aeon USB controlle

Hi team

I am trying to set up a Fibaro FGMS001 with a Zwave Aeon USB controller running on a raspberry pi without much luck!

Domoticz version is 2.3530

The above sensor appears to get added to the list of nodes within Domoticz, but when I check the devices page, the types are generic I.e Lighting2. In fact, the only sensor type that appears to be correct on the Fibaro is Lux.

I have tried waking the Fibaro up by pressing the button 3 times, but the only sensor that updates is type "Lighting2" with the default name as General.

For info, I have a Z Wave TKB Home plug working correctly.

Hi, you should get several new devices. Lighting2 is correct. From memory, you should get temperature, motion, alarm (vibration sensor), lux. You figure out what's what by looking at the values.

For one of mine:-

Temperature = 0A01
Lux = 0000A03
PIR = 0000A00

That's all I use, hope it helps.

Got it working in the end. Issue was that the sensor was out of range to the controller doh!

Hi, does your devices show up as other than Lighting 2 in devices? All of mine shows up as Lighting 2 exept of the Lux sensor.

Maybe this is not a problem, but i wanted the temperature to show up under Termperatur and Lux under sensors and so on, but I have not been able to get them other than under Switches.

Hi all,
My first post on this forum, so welcome all!.
I've been struggling with this multi-sensor since few days already. Also using Aeon USB Gen.5 stick +RPI.B2 - thus decided to continue under similar topic.
The issues I face are:
- can not update any sensor parameter from Demoticz/Hardware sensor menu (Changes I push to sensor dissapear. Since I read the sensor configuration back - old values came, my updates are ignored). How dows it work? Will it work since I manually modify parameters in the fgms.xml file?
- motion and temperature sensors are working fine, however the LUX sensor is still showing the same initial value taken when I added the changes.
Any ideas would be very welcome...

The FGMS001 needs to be awake to receive parameter updates.
Triple-clicking the B button does this, the LED eye goes blue.
Then send the new parameter values.
Check parameters 40 and 42 for illumination reporting, and 60, 62, 64 for temperature.

Ha! Didn't know that hint. This is the beauty of the forum!

It's was not so easy to make it awake - repeated several times unless finally controller recognized it as awake (do not know whether there is quicker way to make it awake from the first try...). However, indeed, it helped with the parameters update finally.

At the same time I see that illumination sensor has changes its value - so maybe it required to be awake as well. I will observe it and play with its configuration parameters since required.
