[664] Extra chart: past 24 hours

Post by dannybloe »

Hi folks,

I love the charting functionality in Domoticz and I use it a lot. Inspecting energy usage, temperatures etc etc. I do notice that almost always when I inspect a chart I try to make a selection of the past 24 hours or so and I find myself spending a lot time first make this selection. So, hence my feature request to have an extra chart above the Day chart only showing the pas 24 hours (maybe configurable). I suggest to (re)name the charts:
  • Past 24 hours
  • Past week
  • Past Month
  • Past Year
Cheers,

Danny

I already shot in a feature request months ago, about better graphing functionality: http://domoticz.com/forum/tracker.php?p=2&t=582 (with some examples how i would like to see it). This request could be a good addition to that one.
But my request never got really of the ground unfortunately. I wish i could code C so i could help implement it...

Yes, indeed. I wonder if this one is lot of work. I suspect this is more low-hanging fruit. Perhaps even only front-end but I'm not sure.
