Hello
I see there is a special type of switch 'Media Player' which is supposed to have additional state 'Stream Pause'
What is it for, or how I can use it?
I recognized that it has dual logo with the windows media player icon and a remote control unit also:
when it's 'off' then only the icon of media player is clickable (to turn it on);
when it's 'on' then the image of the remote control unit also becomes clickable (however with no action).
I wonder what logic was kept in mind when this type of switch developed?
I would like to know and configure it as best as possible by the concept design.
Maybe there should be a pop-up menu available when I click on the remote control unit image?
I have several media players, one is Logitech Squeezebox Radio another is Dune HD so it looks promising for me

Re: Media player switch type
Not sure about the generic support for media players but there is specific support for:
If you aren't using one of those then I don't believe the remote icon should show. Were you using the 'Switches' tab or the 'Floorplan' tab?
- Kodi media players - see http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Kodi
- Logitech media players - see http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Logitech_Media_Server

Re: Media player switch type
Thanks for the feedback
I don't really know what is the functionality of 'Floorplan' and in my case my 'Media Player' switch is defined under 'Switches' tab of main menu (Dashboard, Switches, Scenes, Temperature, Weather, Utility, Setup)
I added a new hardware Dummy (...use for virtual switches only) in the menu Setup->Hardware,
and created manually a new switch with the type of Media Player in the menu Switches
If I set the type of the switch as On/Off only then no image of a remote control unit appears,
when I change the type to Media Player then this image appears right to the Media Player icon.
So hoped I could adapt this type of switch to purposes of general media player not only Kodi or one by Logitech
