feedback heating

Post by domotic2002 »

Hi , i am new on this forum .
i made a small system with domoticz under windows to control the heating in our house :
- two thermostats 433 Mhz - one upstairs and one downstairs
- one presence detection in living room 433 Mhz
- door contact on frontdoor 433 Mhz
- actuator on the waterpump of the heating 433 Mhz
- rfxcom

i made a little program in lua in combination with the events .

it is working well but sometimes ( once in two weeks) the waterpumps doesn't seems to see the off signal , even if i send a repeat ' off'.
So i build in a software protection that if both thermostats raise above a certain tempature after an 'off' command , then i know there is a problem and domoticz sends me
message by email.

Sometimes the doorbel rings ( Byron) while nobody is at the door , while domoticz hasb't send the command....
So i think that there are something false signals tha are capture by the doorbel or actuator of the waterpump.

Has anyone has a solution to eliminate the problem ?

i had a solution : I openend a actuator to connect a second relay , where i connected a door-contact ( get rid of the reed and replace with the secondary of the relay) ,
so i could compare the command ' off' with the feedback of the doorcontact, but apparently the actuator doesn't has enough current to close two relays.
Is there a solution while it would be much better to have a feedback or is there a better solution ?

Switching to Z-Wave products instead of 433Mhz. See this topic for inspiration: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=5025
