Hello
I wonder which is the best computer for mount a domotic system based on Domoticz, of course.
I've read a lot about raspberry and cubiboard...
Now I have my domoticz in an micropc Samsung.

Agree, also run Domoticz on an ESX server in Ubuntu. Have connected both RFXCOM and ZWave and it works very well. Love it that you can make snapshots for backups, move the machine around when needed, etc.

Thanks, this is the first time I hear about it (INTEL NUC) as an alternative to Raspberry and others micro-computer. I'll research about it, although perhaps its price....

I've seen INTEL NUC and.... it's like "to kill fliles with big canyon!" (an spanish sentence).
And... well I've seen some boards the includes the wifi conection and memory.... I thin k NUC is an excelente product but it's too much for domoticz.
So I keep my first question: the best micro for a domotic sytem (of course: equilibrium between specfications and price )

just get yourself a raspberry pi 2 and you be fine

Raspberry Pi 2 on this side as well. Connected with rfxcom, usb zwave stick and Philips hue and is working perfectly and stable. Already up and running now (without reboot) for multiple weeks without any problems.

Yes indeed, Pi2. Best bang for the buck ever.

Domoticz already runs ok on the old Pi, Pi2 is almost overkill. Can't beat it.
