[652] Set type of setpoint (TT or TC) for OpenTherm gateway

Hi,

In the current version Domoticz is using the OpenTherm command TT (Temperature, Temporary - Temporarily change the thermostat setpoint. The thermostat program will resume at the next programmed setpoint change. Values between 0.0 and 30.0 are allowed. A value of 0 indicates no remote override is to be applied.
Examples: TT=19.5, TT=0
) when you change the temperature of the thermostat from domoticz.

But as you can read here: www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=10541
not all thermostats support the TT command, some also need the command TC (Temperature, Constant - Change the thermostat setpoint. The thermostat program will not change this setting. Values between 0.0 and 30.0 are allowed. A value of 0 cancels the remote override.
Examples: TC=16.0, TC=0
)

There is no way to change this in the current Domoticz version, now my thermostat (a honeywell round modulation) is not working correctly because i cannot set Domoticz to use the TC command.

Also in the Opentherm Topic: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... &start=280
you can read that multiple people want the option to set the command which is used.

Thanks!

+1 for the TC option. I would like to use both options, but if I have to choose I prefer to TC

I have the same thermostat and it is working. So your problem is something else.

haha thats quite an easy answer :P
Mine is working, sometimes. Most of the time it is not working. Which can be explaind by viewing: http://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=10541 because the creator of the opentherm gateway posted my thermostat only supports the Constant Setpoint.

But there are also other people who would love to see this feature, see the OpenTherm topic: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... &start=280
so even if my problem would be something else, it would be nice if it is implemented.

There already is someone who posted a solution. but i guess this will be overwritten after each update.

Does your thermostat give an fail? Then you need to change the reference voltage (i had this problem). The gateway must never give an error (mine gave error 3, before changing the parameter).

I also had that problem so i changed the voltage, but that was 3 months ago :P since then no new errors (no single one) but setting the room temperature from domoticz is most of the time not working.
