no new nodes are added to the gateway

I have a problem with the my sensors gateway.
I'm unable to connect any node to the gateway after I had to reinstall the complete system after a power failure that corrupted the SD card.

I reinstalled the whole system using the SD card image, and after that I restored my backup I made earlier.
But now I can see the Gateway that is connected, however no nodes are being added to the system anymore.
What could be the problem?

Setup - Settings - Accept New Hardware devices?

That solution works for devices attached to rfxcom gateways, however not for a mysensor network. Previosly i had to assign a different node id manualy otherwise the nodes would end up in a already excisting node.

the above solution is for all hardware/sensors, also mysensors

you can also try to reset your gateway, that is, writing/executing the clear eprom sketch

I've solved the problem by switching to an ethernet based gateway, now everything works fine.
And indeed use the "accept New Hardware" button.

I think mysensors nodes "remember" their node ID if you don't specify it in the sketch they get one automatically when they first connect and keep that value in eeprom. There's a clear eeprom sketch available to reset this info. I have found if I repurpose one then domoticz sees the old sensors and any new ones I have added when I look at the hardware. I usually manually delete the old unused sensors if the latest "thing" doesn't present them.
