2GIG CT100 Thermostat won't accept Set Point

Post by matt2300 »

Hi all--

I'm running a Raspberry Pi running openzwave-1.3.565, and Domoticz V2.3724. For an interface I use the Aeon Labs Z-Stick 2 (USB). Other than the 2GIG CT100, there's an Aeon Labs smart switch. It's a small network :D

I am receiving data fine from my thermostat, and can set data values to the Aeon switch (turn on/off) and get data from it. But when I try to send a change of set point to the thermostat, the Domoticz logs show the send command, and the Domoticz web console shows the change. But on the next page reload interval, the Set Point device icon on the Domoticz web console shows no change has occurred. And watching the thermostat panel, no change occurs.

It's almost like the thermostat is in a "read only" mode. the log doesn't show much. sending a value of "17" I get:

Code: Select all

2015-11-29 22:38:54.935 User: rpiuser initiated a SetPoint command
subtype       = SetPoint
Temp = 18.89
2015-11-29 22:38:57.416  (OZW_Zstick) Thermostat (Therm.SP1.HeatPoint)
Anyone have some suggestions on methods to debug this? much appreciated, thanks!

yikes! Apparently having the thermostat set to display Fahrenheit and then sending it a Celsius value from Domoticz = no love! :o

I'm afraid my wife is not into using Celsius on the thermostat display so I guess I'm changing to Fahrenheit in my Domoticz setup for now. I'm surprised there isn't a conversion occurring on the sending of the value, as there does seem to be on the receipt of the value from the Domoticz side (?)
