I am after switching on or off a 20w mains powered kitchen extractor fan. I am unsure which relay / inline device to use.
the fan is only rated to 20w and off a 3amp fuse so I was unsure if this relay would be suitable http://www.vesternet.com/z-wave-fibaro- ... mer-2-250w
I have also seen the Aeon Labs Micro Smart Energy Switch G2 http://swarmautomation.com/index.php?ma ... ucts_id=57
All the other systems seem to require a 3 wire system which is for lighting.
Is there another inside back box system?

Well I will answer my own question...
Got in touch with the guys at vesternet about a suitable device .... Getting a bit confused with the 2-wire 3-wire relays.
They were very helpful and recommended
Fibaro single relay - http://www.vesternet.com/z-wave-fibaro- ... t-1-2-5-kw

Re: What recommended inline device?
can you explain why those are options for your scenario? I always struggle to understand the difference between the micro switch for example and the relays. I understand 2 vs 3 wire systems but not where to use one device over another! Vesternet are usually great though
