I've been wondering if we could create a manual topic.

I've made one for adding aeon zwave stick on to a Synology NAS.
Also made one for adding a dual switch. And adding a door sensor with an event for switching the front portal light.

It's real usefull for dummies like me

Great! but the forum is not clear at all.

The wiki.

clicking on integration and protocols for example. People added there stuff but sometimes there is no good manual with it. And there is no default like start with what you are creating, how to accomplish and how to do it step by step.

It is quite difficult to keep everything organized with only a small group of people actively working on it. But the wiki is already making progress, it looked a lot worse a few months ago
