I've been playing around with Domoticz for quite a time and my project is getting bigger and bigger. Although there is a lot of documentation, I'm getting a bit stuck regarding Switching a groupscene between certain times (Sunrise/Sunset).

SITUATION:
When I watch a movie (OPENELEC/XBMC) the lights turn on and off on play/pause/stop. Everything is working very well. The only thing is, that during daytime the lights will turn on after pressing pause. Which is off course totally normal behaviour because the bash scripts sends its ON/OFF command just to the Domoticz API URL.

DEMAND:
Make the Groupscene only switchable afer sunset (Or between certain times). So that when i watch a movie during daytime and press pause, the lights won't switch on. I need some kind of ON/OFF Switch protection during daytime that the groupscene ignores the on/off command when fired. I've already tried to make a SET group = Inactive event in Blockly to disable the scenegroup, but that doesn't work. I've read that Group Inactive only works with PIR sensors?

Can you experts please help me? Thanks in advance!

Create a virtual switch day/nighttime and use that in a if statement of your script.

Forgot to mention: you can add a timer to that virtual switch to have it on/of at sunrise/sunset, or even 10 minutes before/after.
I have 2 such switches. 1 for the hall and 1 for the garage. The hall is set exactly at sunset/sunrise because it's quite bright. The garage is set to 1 hour after sunrise and 1 hour before sunset. With that you can adjust it to fit the needs of the room perfectly
