Philips Hue, HomeBridge - Problem

Post by frizby66 »

Am running Domoticz on RPI with no issues.

Have Philips Hue with 2 x RGB Lights and 1 x White Dimmer Light, which work fine in Domoticz.

The RGB Lights show as "Lighting Limitless/Applamp".
The White Dimmer Bulb shows as "Light 2, AC, Dimmer".

The problem is that domoticz.js script in home bridge ignores the white dimmer because it is not a light, it is AC and it therefore doesn't show as being available in the home kit app on iPhone.

Not sure if I should try editing the domoticz.js script to make it recognise the White Dimmer Bulb or another option?

Also domoticz.js in home bridge doesn't recognise my Nest system but figure this is because it is also AC in domoticz.

Thoughts?

AC is a switch correct? I can not see in the Domoticz.js script why it should not take this
make sure it is in the room (if you use rooms with the homebridge)

Soled the problem. Created a room with only the lightwaverf switches in it and home bridge picked only that room. The Hue stuff home bridge picked up itself and got everything working together that way :-)
