I would like to use a Z-vave Door Lock proved as working fine in Domoticz and I ask to people which have installed such devices to share their opinion.
I would like to choose between following articles but any good suggestion is welcome:
a) Yale Security YRD220-ZW-619 Real Living Electronic

b) Schlage Connect Camelot Touchscreen Deadbolt

c) Vision Deadbolt Door Lock ZM1702

Have you installed a z-wave lock in your house by Domoticz.

Do you really trust domoticz with the safety of your house? And does your insurance? Domoticz is not designed as a security system, so to get an unbreakable system, you need a lot of work and even then....

I agree - even my alarm integration is one way & I insist upon VPN for external access. I'm a big Domoticz fan but from a stability & security point of view I wouldn't even trust an off the shelf system like a Fibaro Home Centre never mind my Pi.

Thanks for your interest
Given that in the new house I do not plan to accommodate precious objects, my intention is to use Domoticz together with a video surveillance system for the outside and I trust that this will be enough
Have you any suggestion on the matter?

Yeah. Dont do it. Use it for an inside door, but dont protect the outside of your house with domoticz. Buy a security aimed system for this task.

Does anyone has a working Vision ZM1702 doorlock in Domoticz?
Mine doesn't seem to work. It is recognised but in devices it appears as 'Locked' with status 'Closed'. Cannot seem to configure anything.
