Hi All,
I would like control my energy consumption with Domoticz.
I have a solar power system and I would like know if I'm using "correctly" the produced energy.
I had some experiences with Raspberry system in the past: it is very useful and low cost product.
I'm going to buy the new raspberry and use it with the image suggested in the wiki https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Domoticz_ ... i_SD_Image.
In order to monitor the energy consumption I need:
- 1 z-wave usb stick
- 1 z-wave energy meter with 2 clambs (1 for whole consumed energy, 1 for SP produced energy)
Please help me to choose the right device.
Thanks in advance
Francesco

You can also use kWh meter with S0 pulse in combination with piface or arduino.

Re: Which energy meter?
Hi all,
first of all thank you for yours replies.
My intention is monitor with clambs method because I have merged in my home energy network two line: 1 from Solar Power + 1 from my energy provider.
I have seen in the page "Working devices" page http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Working_devices that Aeon Labs Energie meter Hem3-100A is compatible.
Why is not compatible the Hem2 (with only 2 clambs)? Is true or nobody tested it? Has someone tested Hem2?
Back to the second question: whitch usb stick I must buy?
Thanks a lot
Francesco
