I have a , restaurant size, espresso machine at home which I want to operate wirelessly. I placed a simple (Action/Lidl) 433mhz RF switch but this unit died pretty fast because of the big heating element in the machine. I do not know how many watts this machine takes in, but therefore I need a Heavy Duty switch. I saw the Zwave one which can take up to 9600 watts for switching bt this is a quite expensive switch. I hope there is a cheaper 433mhz RF unit available....

Just use a cheap 433Mhz switch and connect a big fat relay to it.

Cheap wallplug turns on > puts 230V on big relay > relay switches coffee machine on.
Have a look at Conrad, they sell a loooooot of relays. Make sure it has a coil that switches on at 230V and that it can switch 230V with enough of amps (i would play safe and go for the double amount of the usage of your coffee machine).

Ideally you want to use something as robust as this:

They are around 30 Euro, and have screw terminals so you don't need to solder anything.
If your coffee machine is 3-phase they have a version for that one too.

You can use them in the way as Thinkpad describes.

I have experience in using 40s Solid State Relay's. The problem I have is how to let the Relay switch on. If i connect through a cheap 433mhz RF Wallplug there will only be 230v avaible. Ofcourse this wil
Power the ssr but what can I use to give the ssr the signal to go on? Sorry for my ignorance i am just trying to understand.
