Dear forum readers,
I have a question about Dericam camera (H502W) support in Domoticz.
Is the Dericam supported by Domoticz or are there workarounds available? I did'nt see Dericam in the hardware compatibility list.
Thanks for any feedback!!
Best regards,
Hans Smulders

Hi Hans,
I would say almost certainly yes. I've now got several cams, most of which are different models of cheap Chinese versions and they all work fine. This Dericam looks similar to one of mine (albeit better quality) and the firmware appears identical, so I have no doubt it will be ok. The settings described in my post here should work;

The only issue with ptz cams is that Domoticz does not yet support the ptz controls, just the video feed, although you can add it as a custom tab or create virtual switches to the send http commands (far from ideal though). You can still simultaneously access it via the camera interface though. For mine I just leave them in 'tour' mode. still playing with mine but given a couple of weeks I'm pretty sure I'll have something made that allows the ptz controls to be used in domoticz.

Hi Sincze,
Unfortunately my camera broke down yesterday evening.

So it's hard to say what exactly the results were.
Now I have to buy a new camera. I was so close....

Damn!
