Option for motion sensor to only log when alarm is activated

Currently Domoticz logs my motion sensors 24/7 which result in a lot of DB records. Actually the only moment I am interested in the log is when the alarm was triggered. It would be nice if there was an option to only log when the alarm is activated.
and was wondering if there is any news on a NC (Normally Closed) feature for things connected to the GPIO?
