Domoticz

Hello,

I have a couple of Heos speakers. 5, 7 en link. I would like to control these speakers by domoticz.
Heos is like Sonos but in my opinion better en more functional.
Is anybody willing to integrate these..?? I'am a noob in programming Jason....
I've found a document with the protocols.

How would you like to use it? Domoticz does not have media functionality inside, but I am using it for sending commands to my Denon X4000 amp. Its not ideal but it works.

Looks great and cheaper then Sonos...

Perhaps there is a api..
Perhaps it is working with a other Home automation...

Or send Rob a mail....
And give your system a week to him.....

When he have the time..

The HEOS speaker has media functionality inside for example TuneIn.
Start/Stop en volume functionality would be great.
Anything functionality more is just a benefit.

Control4 and RTI have build in full functionality in there systems.

It's a great system Derik. Great sound for a good price!

Api isn't available but the protocols for api are included in the link of first post.
Ik will see if I can send Rob a mail.

Just found something new to implement Heos speakers. Some guy wrote some code to control the speakers. Maybe possible for some guy with coding skills to implement this in domoticz??

I'm still deciding between Sonos and Heos, i'm slightly favoring Heos.

I'm about to choose one of sonos or Heos and I think I prefer Heos by the specs I read.

So.... do anyone of you have done some research on this topic?
