IMO , we should not expect people to work for free. So i gladly pay or donate when useful work is done that i take advantage of. Unlike games, this is afterall a fairly narrow market... Keep up the good work!

I'm not expecting it to be free, 20 euros for an app that has switches and overviews is just way out of line.hansrune wrote:IMO , we should not expect people to work for free. I think a price of 5 Euro is more in line with other apps that do more or less the same. For this price I can imagine that a lot more people are buying it then. I will be one of them then

Exactly. And not to mention that the name is might be conflicting with Homeseer which could result in a new name for the app.schulpr wrote:I think a price of 5 Euro is more in line with other apps that do more or less the same. If i'm correct that would also mean a re-purchase.
And ofcourse i'm willing and able to support the developer if the price would be more acceptable.

I'm going to order an apple watch as soon as they are available in NL. If needed, I'm willing to participate (again) in your beta-testing, like I did with the first version.

Good looking app. If the dashboard, security panel with touch id and Homekit are implemented I will seriously consider buying it (although I find it too expensive).
I think an in-app purchase is a better method for this price range. Let people test the app for some days, then it's a less big step to buy it.

Not using Domoticz anymore
Re: New iOS App for domoticz
I bought the app a few months ago. I have one problem with it. I need it to support the "forms based login" of domoticz. Is that request easy to fix?
I can't use the http basic auth any longer due to issues in the browsers.

Re: New iOS App for domoticz
For 5 euro i can buy it. I can put another 2 for security panel. Personally i'm not interested in homekit but in-app-purchase of 5 euro can be affordable to Most. Imho you should consider to make the app "scalable" from the business side...

Re: New iOS App for domoticz
I use this apps from some time ago. Now I made some roomplans in Domoticz (example first floor/lights) where some sensors are in both roomplans. The problem is when a sensor change his state the change only shows in one of the roomplans and not in both how should be.
Any ideas?
Kind regards

Re: New iOS App for domoticz
Upgraded to 1.0.1 via AppStore , and it is broken:
* login no longer works. I use basic authentication over SSL, which is taken care of by a nginx proxy to Domoticz on plain http with no passwords set
* About and FAQ ends in requested url not found (/en-NO/about.html)

Hi Hans,
We support basic auth over SSL and you're the first to report issues, can you PM me so I can help you further? The en-NO locale was not supported and is fixed now.

New iOS App for domoticz
Thanks for investigating. Sent you a PM with TCP dump for the failed login. Domotix works for me as well if authentication takes place only in Domoticz.

Re: New iOS App for domoticz
Hi,
Just bought this app last week and works just fine, however is it possible to change the colors of + - buttons (as in the attachment below). It is very hard to see the difference between + and -. If it is only me than i need to see an optician
It would be very nice also if one could change the scenes / groups which are available in the today screen, hence it would be great if we could hide switches / scenes or groups which are available in the app.
If you need a tester please PM or contact me, i'm willing to check!
Thanks in advance

Hi P,
The gray you're seeing is supposed to be white. No need to go to an optician. I don't know what is causing this, this is what I am and you should be seeing: Is it a setting on your phone, maybe? Otherwise PM me for a test version.
regards,

Hi M,
Very strange idd. will do some setting resets here. I'm using a iPhone 6S, can't imagine this would be the problem however. I cannot send PM's for the moment, as it seems i need to participate more to use that option. You could drop me an e-mail however at pascal(at)dreissen(dot)nl
Thanks in advance!

AH, cool, already thought I had to be something like that, since you were the only one.
