The Dynamic dash is a really, really good addition to Domoticz which I like a lot. However I have a problem with the Calendar widget.
I'm using an .ics link to a (Nextcloud) calendar. Initially when configuring the widget it works great. However it seems that updates are not shown. Even refreshing the widget does not update the calendar items.
I checked the ics url directly and confirmed the correct calendar items are there. Also using other browsers and disabling cache doesn't make any difference.
Has anyone an idea how to resolve this issue?

EDIT: Some additional info: When I view the debug logs is see the call to the calendar server as something like; /json.htm?type=command&param=fetchurl&url=<url calendar server>
Using the same command manually in the browser like http://domoticz.ip/json.htm?type=comman ... l&url=<url calendar server> will give the correct results from the calendar server. The widget however is not updating.

Good news: your report led me straight to the bug. It wasn't a caching issue at all , the data was being fetched fresh every time (as your fetchurl test showed). The problem was in how the widget parsed the ICS feed: it completely ignored recurring events.

In an ICS export, a repeating appointment is stored as a single entry with its original start date (which can be months or years in the past) plus a repeat rule (RRULE). The widget only looked at that original date, decided the event was "in the past" and filtered it out, so recurring appointments never showed up, and the widget appeared frozen while your real calendar moved on. Only one-time events were displayed, which is why it looked fine right after you configured it.

I've now added proper recurrence support: daily/weekly/monthly/yearly repeats (including interval, count and end-date rules) are expanded into their upcoming occurrences, and deleted or moved single occurrences of a series are handled too.
The fix will be in an upcoming beta build , please give it a try once it's available and let me know if your Nextcloud calendar updates correctly.

Thanks for your quick reply. I have tested with build 18129 and after entering a new calendar item nothing happens at first. Also not showing using the refresh option. After some time (refresh interval of 900 seconds) the new item appears.
For now I'm happy with the way it works now. I assume there will be some optimizations over time.

Did I mention that I really like the new dashboard. Just kidding but since this is such a great addition to Domoticz it might be considered to give the "DynaDash" its own place on this forum.
