Hello,
i had a seperate temperature and setpoint(thermostat) device and decided to combine those 2 into a thermostat6 device.
everything is working but i noticed inconsistent displays.
On the temperature page it is displayed as
THERMOSTAAT temperature (setpoint)
setpoint:!!!!!!
on the dashboard page it is displayed as
THERMOSTAAT. setpoint (Temperature)
would be nice if we make this consistent.

Re: thermostat6 inconsistency in views
Yes, I don't know why the original author of the Thermostat6 wanted it to be displayed in the Temperature tab (maybe because it has a temperature)
I would have put it under Utilities
If you want to know the temperature of your room thermostat you might expect it under temperature
We could put it under both? Or Utility only to be consistent with 'Setpoints', but this is not a 'Setpoint' , it is a 'Thermostat', it can include temp/hum/baro

Re: thermostat6 inconsistency in views
no the place is correct,.
i like it under temperature
the problem is that temperature and setpoint are swapped.
e.g. on the TAB dashboard(the favorites tab) it is displayed as setpoint/temperature
on the TEMPERATURE tab it is displayed as temperature(setpoint)
so to make it consistent it needs to be displayed as temperature/setpoint on the dashboard tab page
other combined sensors also bgin with temperature, followed by a second variable(eg humidity)

Re: thermostat6 inconsistency in views
Now I see ! Yes that is not consistent.
In the new beta (17697) I also changed the widget color to use the normal color scheme as all other widgets.
Meaning, above 25 degrees it won't turn 'red', it only turns 'red' when there is a timeout (no temp/hum or baro received within the hour)
It was using a EVO Home CSS style, maybe this style (above 25 degrees) has to change from red to amber.
No idea why this was every implemented, but then again, I never see it as I don't have EVO home equipment
This CSS style is not only applied to Evo Home heat-level colors now restricted to Zone/Hot Water devices only

Re: thermostat6 inconsistency in views
ok thanks.
at the moment the thermosat turns green when on setpoint is on 16 degrees and orange when on 20.5
indeed it would be confusing if it turns red.
at the moment the color is consistent on both favorite page as well as temperature page.
please check if it stays the same when you swap the temperature/setpoint positions(eg will the color still depend on the setpoint)
let me know when i can test this along with the counters

Re: thermostat6 inconsistency in views
It is already available, when I mention a certain beta version number, 9/10 times this means the beta has been build (and if not it is available in 10 minutes of posting)

Re: thermostat6 inconsistency in views
just tested it but the colors seems gone.
can you also have a look at this problem
the whole total counter thing broke current watermeter functionality.
because the watermeter is outputting total liters instead of total m3 i can not stay on the updated version because watermeter is broken
look at the json data in the thread and you see what i mean.
