New Theme > Dashboard 2026

Hi,
As the title says, I’m currently working on a new theme for personal use. It doesn’t have a name yet.
The theme is fully responsive and works on both desktop and mobile devices. All settings are stored in a virtual text device.
The blocks can be moved between columns within the same column structure, and columns themselves can also be repositioned.
Column reordering is only available on desktop.
On mobile, the layout follows the saved (static) configuration and cannot be rearranged.
This is mainly to prevent conflicts with swipe gestures on phones and tablets.
The weather icons dynamically reflect the current conditions.
For example, freezing temperatures show an ice icon, rain displays a rain icon, and so on.
Development has only just started, so please don’t ask for a download yet — it’s not finished.
At the moment, it uses a room with favorites, but switching to another room is straightforward and easy to configure via a config file.
It takes all (favorite) devices/sensors automatically from inside the room.
Each block includes an instant update “glow” indicator with a timestamp of the last update, so you can instantly see live activity.
So far i made it as test, but we using it on all phones and tables and it works great.
Still needs work to do, but for what we need, it works excellent.
If you’re interested, let me know.
Depending on any feedback or tips, I might take this to the next level and consider sharing it.
