Zigbee Aut Discover + AduroSmart Dimmer Plug

Hello,

My setup:
  • Domoticz: 2025.2
  • Zigbee2Mqtt
  • Several Zigbee devices
Last week I added a AduroSmart dimmer Plug to Zigbee2Mqtt.
Device was added OK to Zigbee2Mqtt.

I see the device when I browse Mqtt Explorer. Device is also added under the AutoDiscovery topic.
When I enable the AutoDiscovery plugin in Domoticz, all Zigbee devices are discovered.
But the AduroSmart is only partially discovered (i.e. not all devices)).

Only Topic <AutoDiscoveryPrefix>/<select>/<devicename>/Effect is discovered by Domoticz.
The <AutoDiscoveryPrefix>/<light>/<devicename>/light is not discovered! And you need that one to turn the plug on/off or dim it.
Also <AutoDiscoveryPrefix>/<select>/<devicename>/power_on_behaviour is present, but not discovered. I have no idea if that one needs to be discovered.

But, when I change the name of the device in Zigbee2Mqtt the <AutoDiscoveryPrefix>/<light>/<devicename>/light is discovered by Domoticz.

So that seems to be Ok, until you reboot the system or turn off/ on the Mqtt Auto Discovery plugin. Then the device belonging to topic <devicename>/light isn't discovered (if a device was discovered after renaming the device in zigbee2mqtt it can't be used). Change the name in Zigbee2Mqtt and its discovered again; and the device can be used again.

Seems like 'Persistent' has been disabled in your zigbee2mqtt setup? When you launch MQTT Explorer, you can see the config?

Please create a github issue, and specify the config topic+payload, follow this guide:
