Hi. The manual describes how to get data from a new device into an old device. I am looking fof doing the other way around.
Why?
I have a number of esp's 8266 which collect data from dallas sensors. Data transferred via idx to Dz.
Espeasy got a new controller in esp32 which has also auto discovery. Especially for HA
I have made an upgradd from esp8266 to esp32.
Currently I am running Dz and HA in parallel. For that I enabled the OpenHab controller in espeasy. As Mqtt AD is active in Dz All temp devices were discovered.
Now I want to keep the new device but should like to include the old history.
Would that be possible and if yes how.

Found my answer. Just swap old and new from instructions on page 20 of the manual

mmm. not fully Oke, I just found that compare temp (last graphic) only took 2025 not former years

Hi Walter, it's the manual once you press the button on the 'about domoticz' page. In fact same info as per yr link.
Meanwhile it's strange that the last graphic lost info of previous years.

That PDF manual is from 2015 and should not be used, lots of things have been changed since then. But Gizmocuz refuses to remove it

But we'r drifting from the topic. Why is all data of previous years gone once you replace a device?

I'm the only one facing this unwanted behaviour?
