All,
I have been a user of homebridge for years and it works really well. So far, I have either used google or amazon devices to talk to and execute things. That can also be done with any homepod but I also use the google home/alexa devices to say things (washer done, dryer done, door still open, stuff like that).
Has anyone figured out a workable way to send audio to an apple device (homepod)? I have searched quite a bit but it seems there is no API out there. Maybe airplay is the answer but I am also struggling to understad how to integrate that properly.
Anyone who has advice on how to best do that? Best practices?
Thx!!
Herman
