[2025.1] release infos

Hello, Thanks a lot for this release but as the base topic is locked, not allowing to ask info/give feedback, I create this one with a question: Did not see info about libssl change that was earlier said to be planned for next stable?
=> Would like to know if this release must be managed in sync with (quite common) raspberry OS used for hosting domoticz from Debian 11 base -> Debian 12 or if this is still not mandatory (libssl1.1 still available in Debian 12)...

Hello, I updated my Domoticz after the latest version, first made a backup but now on the PC I lost my dashboard while on my phone I see it all. At temperature I get this message: No Temperature sensors found or added in the system.... while on the phone it is just visible. Uses the same IP address for both,
http://192.168.178.XXX:8080/#/Temperature, what should I do now?

As always after an upgrade: properly clear your cache as that likely contain old versions of js files.
To test it in another way: You could also try a browser incognito mode to see if that fixes it, but likely still require the clear cache for normal mode.

There are still some fixes in the Domoticz install script to come over the libssl1.1 issue for newer RPi OS's.

Did you come from a very old Domoticz version? As I think @Gizmocuz solved the caching issue a couple of versions ago.

Yes, there should be no caching issue since a year...

Thanks, I was not mentioning beta's but stable versions. So updating from 2024.4 should not introduce browser cache issues... (But it did for you).

Thanks for the info!
On the update topic, one request you may consider: It's now locked (I presume to keep them clear to read)... But as a result, users feedback for a specific version are no more grouped in the same place and split across the various forum sections so more difficult to find: IMO this would be nice to make an unlocked feedback sister topic in the news section for any new Domoticz version.

You are free to start a topic but my experience is that that topic will go all over everything including asking on the same problem multiple times because users cannot read through the big topic. So better to have a seperate topic for each found issue. And in the last line I added a suggestion to start a new topic in the bugs and problem topic but almost nobody did yet.....
But also because issues sofar were related to already discussed issues that were solved in beta releases. So better to continue there.
