State of MQTT AD?

Hi,

I recently discovered MQTT AD and tried it out by deactivating MQTT, activating MQTT AD and restarting my Domoticz 2024/07.

I found all my Tasmota devices and sensors - more than my Tasmoticz plugin discovered. In addition all my Zigbee devices showed up - happy!

But then I noticed: all old Tasmota switches (those configured in Tasmota to use the Domoticz idx) didn't work anymore.
Also all MQTT AD Tasmota switches did not work.
Not working means: I can click - log reports the toggle and no error message appears but state does not toggle on the physical device.
The only Tasmota devices that still worked in domoticz were those provided by Tasmoticz.
But the whole system got very sluggish and cpu load was very high. Same when I deactivated hardware "Tasmota Devices" and Tasmoticz.
When I got back to MQTT/Tasmota Devices/Tasmoticz all was back to normal.

So my question is: is it just early stages and I have to wait for MQTT AD to stabilize or might an update to latest already help?

Mqtt ad is separate from normal mqtt. They serve a different purposes and can (should) be used side by side. I have one standaard mqtt and a series of mqtt ad instances (one for each device group).

Thanks, that was a misunderstanding on my part.
With Mqtt and Mqtt AD plugins active now everything works fine and coexist nicely with tasmoticz
