KAKU ACC-250-LD steps too big

Post by MikeVanD »

I have a few KAKU ACC-250-LD wall plugs which are dimmable.
I've connected each of these with a KAKU AWRT-1000 and with these I can set the amount of light very accuratly with the extra deep dim options this wall plug is capable of.

In Domoticz I can in- or decrease in steps of 6.66% I read (nice number btw  ) and that is too big of a step.
When I set the percentage in the device for example on a certain time, there is not much happening; the percentage stays the same. When I curl the percentage, the Dimmer goes to 100%; whatever the value I set; 1 or 99 and everything in between; it max out at 100% every time.
In Lua or dzVents I am not that far to get to that point without other errors

I've found this old thread on github and was curious if that might be the solution? If so, where to find it?

How do you control your KAKU devices? What Domoticz Hardware gateway is used?

If your KAKU devices are zigbee devices you could consider to get rid of the KAKU bridge and use an open source Zigbee gateway.
Domoticz running on Udoo X86 (on Ubuntu)
Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar

It seems, that the dimmer is using another protocol to make smaller steps. They going to have a look at it, if they come to it.
