Readout MetOffice / WOW

Reading data directly from a meteo-sensor usually is the simplest way of data collection.
Sometimes useful to upload sensordata to an organisation, and readback that data plus the data they derived from the uploaded data.
AWEKAS is good example, providing actual values in combination with extreme values and related time of occurrence.

Wondering whether WOW-NL via MetOffice_Datahub might provide similar functionality.
Have looked into their documentation and examples, but without a result which is reasonably easy to implement:
any (positive) experience in this forum?

MetOffice-Datahub meanwhile seems to concentrate on meteo-info in the UK:
not very appealing for meteo-buds 'on the continent'.
And no readback in sight for the PWS-data contributed to MetOffice/WOW ......

Sensing a move of MetOffice/WOW to become 'more commercial' and less volunteer-oriented:
suck the data from the volunteer-PWSes, without compensation other than data inserted in compiled display .....
