Domoticz

Hello, I can't find instructions anywhere on how to start the energy panel in the new version of domoticz. Maybe one of my colleagues can help me set it up.
What are the settings for and how do I start it.

Those extra devices can be used to see the Energy usage of some devices like your Electric car charger, your washing machine etc. But only if you have Domoticz devices monitoring them.

Does this panel work with any specific devices?

I have measuring devices built on TASMOTA and PZEM 004 thanks to which I receive data from the Inverter and data on electricity consumption at home. Am I able to use this data?

It has to be a proper Energy devices so either P1, Electricity (Instant and counter) etc. But it can also be some other measuring devices. With the field data you can define what data is shown.
You can see it from the pull down menu what Domoticz devices in your system are usable. You can play a little bit with it as it is only showing data, not saving. So you cannot break it.

Exactly, I can't use any devices, see the screenshot. In the other tabs I can, but in the P1/GRID field there is nothing.

In the Solar field, as you can see in the picture, there is something to select, but no matter what I set on the panel, nothing is displayed.

I think it starts with the grid device, no grid device, no calculation for usage etc.

I just don't have anything in the GRID field and I don't know how to add it.

What type of Domoticz device is showing the values of your grid meter (the main electricity meter of your home)?
Can you make a screenshot of the widget from the Domoticz Utility Tab showing the widget?

I have a home energy meter built on PZEM 004 NodeMCU and Tasmota.

Unfortunately, these devices are not available in the energy panel P1 GRID.

Seems you are using a theme not showing the device type in the widget so that does not help a lot.
What about the device type shown in menu Setup - Devices?

So here it is:

I do not see any kWh device that has a counter + instant usage (W), and that is the issue
It seems you only have a device that displays 'Watt', but you have no device that displays the total usage (or delivery) of the day (Like your house used 8.5 kWh)

There are such devices:

@Daro1003, Why are they not of type General/kWh and contain the kWh counter + Usage (Watt) ?
Who is populating these sensors? And can this be changed to type General kWh?
This is needed to have both counter + usage (or a P1 meter device)

This is a counter built on PZEM and Tasmota and it is detected by domoticz

Okey then better ask the one that creates these devices to update a general/kWh sensor instead of two devices.
Or you can write a simple dzVents script that receives the Watt/kWh and updates a general/kWh sensor

Autumn, so I'm back to the topic
Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do with these sensors. I asked the person who creates them to change it to but nothing.

There's still a script that I can't write either because I don't know how to write dzvents scripts.

Can any of you guys help me with this topic of creating this energy panel?

Do you have a link to the integration you use to connect those PZEM and Tasmota devices to Domoticz?
