Hello,
I have a failed device, a plug so also router, that failed and cannot be removed with device reset.
All items are removed on domoticz side that should trigger full device remove from Z4D but I believe this require some communication with device that is no more possible in such case.
According to wiki, a bin icon shoud be visible in object management on the left but this is not the case (latest stable plugin).
Such issue could also happen in zwave but a "remove failed node" command was availlable or as a last resort using controller tool from chip builder.
Is there something a available in zigbee?
Z4D suppress failed device Topic is solved

Re: Z4D suppress failed device
For me in this case there is indeed a bin icon visible that removes the device from the Z4D configuration.
Lets wait for pipiche to arrive here to give some extra instructions what to do in your case.

Re: Z4D suppress failed device
No such icon on my side... As I'm french I asked on french forum yesterday before going here this morning & Pipiche just answered to remove all attached devices to the object from domoticz, but this is IMO all done (will re-re-check this evening). So I'll continue there for this removal issue, but this may not be the only one... see hereafter.
I tried this procedure for the exact same object that replaced failed one. So for a working object removing devices from domoticz triggers the exclusion correctly. If I'm right, this does not work (at least in my case) for a failed device that cannot communicate with coordinator anymore. And no bin on my Z4D (v7.1.012) to force removal.
I said hereupper I had to exclude exact same new plug that replaced failed one: Reason is using "replace" on Domoticz widgets side (the 2 I used, on/off switch and watt-meter as this is a 220V plug) lead to non functional widgets & plugin errors in log. Did this in zwave in the past without issue, but as that's a domoticz core functionality not 100% sure that's plugin issue.
Just hope, as I had to keep failed object to be able to use remove function (I planned to remove it after this to keep stats&plannings attached to the switch), that this failed replace did not bring me in some corner case that now prevent failed object removal...

Re: Z4D suppress failed device
Don't understand why, but icon was present yesterday evening without changing anything on domoticz side: Just wanted to get IEEE ID on plugin side to filter on device ID on Domoticz-devices side to be 100% sure nothing was missed... and the bin was present.
Take care that bin presence condition in plugin webUI is not having any remaining device registered on Domoticz side: That's not written in Z4D wiki but Pipiche told this yesterday and, indeed, bin icon was only present for the line of the faulty device yesterday.
Maybe some browser caching prevented immediate bin icon visibility? I remember to have forced reload page several times but I did not force-clear the cache...
