Device configuration

Hello,

I do have a NO relay that I would like to add on a Zigbeee DIO module. Il order to configure it within Domoticz, I would like to invert the control so that it appears ON within Domoticz when no control and Off when controlled. Is there somewhere I can configure this? Or maybe Zwave2Mqtt could do the job?

Thanks

What Zigbee DIO module? Link to Zigbee2MQTT device? Is there a parameter list?
Zwave2MQTT? I think you mean Zigbee2MQTT....

I do have a IOMZB-110 module from Develco, I would like to use a NO contactor to control a central heating appliance and switch it off completely during summer vacation.
As the system will be on 90%of the time, I want to avoid having the contactor's coil on 90% of the time.

I don't think there is a coil in there. But I also see no option to invert the on/off state. Thee also no option in Domoticz to do so for a normal on/off switch. There is an invert option if you change the type to Blinds but I don't know if this is supported to change the switch type in Domoticz for MQTT AD controlled devices. You could give it a try. Use the edit button on the device widget to change the type to Blinds and invert if needed.

Thanks for your help,

I managed doing this as I'm controlling an external contactor with NO and NC contacts that I wired to the NC contact of the zigbee module. This does the job but I was looking for a smarter solution.

It seems that you need just to replace On and Off icons of any switch in Domoticz?

Or i didnt get the idea?

And are you sure you have to use NO contact?
This means that when you activate it, the current in the circuit appears.

Therefore, is it better to use an NC contact if the circuit should be active 90% of the time?
