I‘m using the „normal“ mqtt hardware to publish data from a general kWh meter. Is there a possibility to have also the counter today value published? That would be very helpful to not need to calculate this value in a different application again.
It seems that only the actual watts and the total counter are included in the data.

If it is not in the mqtt message it cannot be published with standard Domoticz MQTT as there is no configuration option to do this.

You could write a dzvents script so send it with mosquitto_pub as it is a dzvents attribute of a counter device or have the external application read the getdevice JSON for the counter were it is listed.
