Migration old domoticz to a now hardware #windows

Hi,
I am helping friend to migrate his old Domitocz v4,9700 to a new hardware. His setup in Domitocz is not complicated: MQTT, few buttons and sensors, thats it. What is the best practice in here. Current version is legacy and I can't find installer 4,9700 for Windows. I guess, the safiest would be to find same version and install on new PC and than restore backup. Is there any place where legacy versions are stored, or maybe someone could share one.

As you still have the old hardware it would be better to start with the latest Domoticz Stable version (2024.1) on the new hardware.
- Do the basic Domoticz install and see if it works. Copy scripts if needed.
- Install MQTT on the new hardware
- Stop Old and new server
- Copy domoticz.db from old server to new.
- Start new server. Domoticz recognizes old database and converts it into a current version.
- Update MQTT settings in new domoticz server, menu setup - hardware (IP address has changed)
- Change all external devices that connect to MQTT as they need to connect to the new MQTT server.

If something fails, stop the new server and start the old server again.

Thanks mate, this sound very reasonable. I didn't know that Domoticz can hadnle old database conversion. In my case it should be even easier, becaus I'd like to shut down old HW and assigne its IP to a new one.
