Version: 2023-1
Build Hash: f9b9ac774
Compile Date: 2023-02-14 15:06:40
dzVents Version: 3-1-8

Can someone tell me how to update 2023-1 to 2023-2 step by step? Because after i did an update to 2024, all my sensors and switches where gone. I removed the updated version, then I restored domoticz from my backup (version 2023-1), everything is working now, but still there is one error caused by SVT (Smart Virtual Thermostat) this error is solved in version 2023-2 but I am not technical at all, so is there a manual that describes step by step hoαΊƒ to manually update from 2023-1 to 2023-2. Because when I do an update (./updaterelease) than I get 2024 release, which is not working for me.

thank you

You are using OpenZwave and that has been deprecated in latest stable 2024.1. Due to users having a more issues then expected with this change OpenZwave has been enabled again in 2024.1 Beta.
So you better upgrade to 2024.1 Beta. Also invest time in migrating to Zwave-JS-UI as OpenZwave is abandoned and will be deprecated from Domoticz.

In a shell/terminal box:

Code: Select all

cd domoticz
sudo ./updatebeta
Please also read the 2024.1 release notes:

You may upgrade to a current beta as Gizmocuz was kind enough to include openzwave again for now after many users got some new year day headache not only resulting from heavy alcohol useπŸ™ƒ
